Safe Spaces, an exhibit designed
My team and I were tasked by the California African American museum in LA to create and conceptualize a pitch for an exhibit in their main gallery space. Through research and discovery, our team chose two concepts to marry as the focus of the exhibit and then began to collect content, form a narrative, curate and then design the space and experience within Sketchup.
The exhibit was titled: Saturday Night Grooves to Sunday Morning Gospel. Exploring queer identities through fashion and figures, places of worship, and the music they inspired.
